wedding ringsEach bride wants to have the perfect wedding day, which she will fondly remember forever. From the moment the engagement rings appear to the time when the wedding rings are on the brides’ fingers, the brides are bombarded with wedding possibilities and ideas. It is important to distinguish good from bad so as not to fall into past trends that were popular for a fleeting moment. Luckily, this summer is all about class and elegance, so the majority of trends are fabulous.

Here is a quick breakdown of some classic hot and nots for summer brides:

Hot: Loose, flowing and traditional hair styles. Let your hair down for the perfect wedding style.

Not: Tight, pulled back styles. This makes for a frigid and uptight look. Summer brides are all about being relaxed and at ease, let your hair reflect this.

Hot: Simple, classic wedding dresses in cream or off white. The structure of the dress is the most important part; if it is built or tailored to fit your body then it won’t need excessive frills and detailing.

Not: Over the top, far too embellished princess dresses. Big and loud are out, and as always classic, subtle and elegant are in.

Hot: Classic receptions, in beautiful halls with outdoor areas if possible. Outdoor access always makes a reception more beautiful, but if this is not an option than use flowers and greens to create an outdoor feel to an indoor venue.

Not: Dark, overpowering and gloomy receptions. Too many decorations, especially in dark colors, can make reception halls feel somewhat claustrophobic. Nobody wants their guest feeling closed in, so veer away from the darks and opt for the lights.

Good luck with the wedding planning, keep in mind the classic hot and nots for summer brides and you will no doubt have a timeless wedding that will be fondly remembered forever.
